Socialist March on August Revolution Day
The Socialist Party has organised a march in memory and honour of the martyrs of August Kranti from Rajghat to Narendra Dev Vatika (Ring Road) on 9 August 2012. Socialists in Delhi will assemble at Rajghat at 10 am and proceed to Narendra Dev Vatika under the leadership of Dr. Raj Kumar Jain (former MLA) and Renu Gambhir (president, Socialist party, Delhi). Justice Rajindar Sachar will welcome them at Narendra Dev Vatika. He will also garland the statue of Acharya Narendra Dev.
Thereafter a public meeting will be held in the grounds of the Vatika. Senior socialist leaders and citizens will address the meeting.
