“Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer First Human Right Award 2015”

Mr. Justice Rajindar Sachar (Retd.). Former President Peoples Union for Civil Liberties was presented a Cheque of Rs. 1 Lakh (Rs. 1,00,000/-) for his work for Human Right by Justice Sukumaran of Kerala High Court at a function by Forum for Democracy and Communal Amity (F.D.C.A.) held at Kochi (Kerala) on 4^th December, 2015

Mr. Justice Rajindar Sachar while speaking on the occasion recalled his warm association and emphasized the deep commitment of Justice Krishna Iyer to the human Rights and commitment to the cause of Minorities.

Justice Rajindar Sachar announced that in the same spirit he is donating this amount equally (Rs. 50,000/- each) between the two organizations with whom he has had long association.
