Belated effort at justifying repression

The conduct of the is seen as fanning the emotions of general masses against the Union of uIndia and instigating the public with statement against the unity and integrity of India".

     Shaikh Abdulla ,three times chief minister of j & k and sitting member of Loksabha was detained on 4th Aug  2019 in his residence was v put under house arrest on 14/9/19 by an order passed by Shrinagar district magistrates his residence it self is declare a subjail.

The dossier ,accompanying arrest order runs into 21pages and lists 27 charges,16 polies Police reports and three firs and 13 statements in favour the abrogated 35A.

       In  One of the statements,made in 2016  at naseembagh hajaratbal Faruq is said to have invited Separatist Hurriyst Conference to join his NC .Another statements ,post Fubru Pulwama attack in which he is purported to have said I doubt 40 crpf men were killed His July 2019 statements is said to be saying thatMiir ties are also tporary.

          One wonders are these words likely to incite violence ?Official dossier states that Faruq had also asked people not to hoist Indian National flag and further that people should rise in rebellion against India.

    If true, such words are not desirable .One may even say condemnable .But all those are words of mouth .The authorities have not cited any evidence to f having procured arms or led violent action.

   Acrobatics of the authorities ,either Shrinagar or Delhi show up hem in poor color.On the one hand they say that people of JK have welcome d two resolutions passed in Parliament on 5 Aug.and that there is peace in the State and yet they cannot release 4000 activists who are detained for 53 days nor lift bans imposed on the Press.Many of the person's had stood firmly in favour of Union of India and against Pakistan.The authorities are hurling wild allegations against them without giving them chance to defend themselves in a court of law.

      And the authorities are clever ly maintaining studied silence about their wicked assault on the federal structure which is one of the basic structures of our Constitution,

        I call upon all democracy loving people to continue sustain Ed campaign demanding democracatic normalcy in Jammu Kashmir State.
